You ever see a guy in the store, or the mall, or just walking down the street, and he's got that brownish-reddish funny colored hair that just isn't a color people usually have on their heads? And you feel bad for him? Seeing one of those guys tonight at the store inspired this latest installment of...whatever this old picture with the captions is called.

If you are still having ideas in advertising at that guy's age, you've blown it. His role is to make others generate ideas and shoot all of them down except the ones that will take him to a nice shoot location, like Pebble Beach. Or possibly a cruise ship. His other goal is to become too invisible to be fired before retirement.

Damn, that's funny, but it sure does make me feel old. I remember when I started in the ad biz, we didn't even have fax machines and it was normal to wear ties.
