What Would Dave Do? Ogilvy, that is.
As a private person, I have a passion for landscape, and I have never seen one improved by a billboard. Where every prospect pleases, man is at his vilest when he erects a billboard. When I retire from Madison Avenue, I am going to start a secret society of masked vigilantes who will travel around the world on silent motor bicycles, chopping down posters at the dark of the moon. How many juries will convict us when we are caught in these acts of beneficent citizenship?

Dude! Just got back from a vacation in 'the natural state'. Hiway 540 has VISTAS with tens of thousands of trees right before your very eyes in the Boston Mtn area; then we came back to MO, and saw billboard crap everywhere. I used to have a buddy in MO that got chastised for feeling the same way, but his job was in advertising, he wasn't allowed an opinion, or morals for that matter
