Everyone's a Creative
No, I mean it. Everyone really is. In some way or another, everyone is a creative. But in this business, it'd sure be nice if there was a way to keep everyone's opinion out of every job. Production by committee...you know the result...a watered-down and usually ineffective piece. Client's always right? Rarely.

If at least two of these people were wearing stethoscopes, then it would be my workplace. Just once I'd like to peer over a doc's shoulder during surgery & say something like "Hmmm, maybe you should think about trying this size blade instead...but hey, I'm no surgeon."

I have a sign in my office for clients and all to see: The client has the right to make the wrong decision. I want them to see it...I ask them, "if you know how to do this, then why did you call me?" I say it kindly, but it does tend to shut them up.

That photo cannot possibly be depicting advertising executives. What agency has that much diversity — and a White janitor?!
