What? We're Just Socializing
I have a strong dislike for texting, emailing or web surfing at a table, not that I haven't been guilty myself of uploading a picture of a decadent meal, but I will always alert my table mates that I am about to. There's something very anti-social about sitting across from someone and showing yourself to be too busy to give them your full attention. Nonetheless, I see this scene played out fairly often lately.

And they're probably texting each other.

I hear you. I also abhor call waiting, where someone calls me, talks for 5 minutes, then says "hold on, I have another call."
Do they think I have nothing better to do that wait?

I have a friend who calls me and will always end the call by saying, "Hey, I've got another call coming in. I have to take this. I'll call you right back."
And he NEVER calls back.

You do the absolutely best visuals, Jetpacks. Luv this. Right down to the oh so tasteful table inscription :)

Thanks AB. As a copywriter, my design skills are generally scoffed at by my designer friends, so I have to do them here on the blog.
