Hans of Heidelberg: Seasonal Work
I need to get this guy back on track. He is Hans, an unemployed musician who is a stay-at-home Dad raising his two kids Torch and Scorch. His wife, Britte, is a corporate attorney. Hand-drawn and then scanned and colored crudely in Photoshop. But my scanner died, so this is a rework of the original.

Great work! Really, we love it. This is the kind of edgy irreverent comic our company could really get behind. We do have a few minor suggestions. Really tiny, you can accept them or not, your choice. You're the boss. Here goes.
Could one of the kids maybe be Asian? Also, in the last panel, how about it if the girl was holding a Red Bull? One last thing, could you maybe work in a family pet: a dog (preferred) or a cat or something like that?

All of these updates are possible, and in fact might work well within the story line.
To wit: When Hans was opening for the Scorpions in Japan in the late 80s, he fathered a child with an Asian groupie. She feels out of place in Germany.
The Red Bull would be pure product placement, but adds elements we could address later - addiction and dependency. Maybe even an After School Special kind of thing where Hans addresses the camera after the episode.
The dog: I will want to make him a German Shepherd who longs to be a Polizei dog, but his anxiety disorder prevents him. He spends his days under the coffee table, listening to Enya, which he claims soothes him.
Have your people get in touch with my people and we will move forward from there with the requisite NDA, etc.
