  • What about just replacing the audio on YouTube?

    You should be able, in the edit settings of you video, to simply (ish, er) upload a replacement audio track the same length as the video.

    ?

    I hadn't thought of that, (in fact wasn't aware that was possible) but then I wouldn't have the intro and outro, right?

    The new track is actually put together in phrases, watching the original track's waveform and trying to match the timing. Either way, I'd still have to record the original track to an audio program in order to match.

    Might try another of these - after I get a haircut.
