With Halo 3 in beta, X-Box's sure-to-go-platinum 3rd installment of the wildly popular game, Microsoft is taking advantage of a free ad medium that the gamers know and use extensively: YouTube. Nearly 4 million views of the various Halo 3 trailers, with thousands of comments.

When you look at some of the Halo 3 forums and blogs it doesn't take a long time to get a feel for the buzz H3 is generating.
You can bet any marketers and advertisers looking to reach the 16-24 yr old male demographic have September 25th heavily circled on their calendars.
