Career Change - and Back Again

Billy Donovan, who led the Florida Gators to two consecutive national basketball titles, announced on Friday that he would be joining the Orlando Magic as head coach. By Sunday, he said he made a mistake and wants to stay at the University. I think these photos from Friday's press conference pretty well explain what happened.

  • Billy, bad move. NBA groupies MUCH nicer than the NCAA.

  • She really doesn't look that mad. I'll bet the second team (I'm talking out my a*s at this point) were being jerks and he decided to take one in hand.

And he'll regret it for the rest of his life I'm sure.

  • I dunno, Maulleigh. I think that's her practiced "pissed in public but taking one for the team" face.

The guy moved his parents and her parents to Gainesville when he got the UF job, so I'll bet a 110 mile commute wasn't sitting well with the fam.
