Yes, indeed, all of us here in flyover land are just like this unenlightened fellow. And the people on the coasts are all brilliant, highly educated and always know the absolutely right things to do to make the world a better place. I just love these crude, simplistic stereotypes--it's so much easier to characterize entire regions this way. Saves a lot of thinking.

@ dhanson. This is a COMIC, but it is based on my 14 years in the Ozarks among Evangelicals who think this way. It is not meant to characterize an entire portion of the country. It's one hand-drawn man who listens to right wing radio and believes what he hears. (Don't tell me they don't exist.) And HE is making fun of the coasters who call his part of the county "flyover."

Lighten up.

Hey, dhanson. Jetpacks is describing my next door neighbors...and my parents. The lack of forward thinking in this region is frightening. And, may I add that intellect and perspective and NOT elitist traits. Thank you.
